Simon Pounder is a Managing Director on the Aviation Finance Team at Marathon Asset Management. Based in Los Angeles,  he leads the firm's engine leasing activities. Simon joined the firm in 2022 and brings more than 20 years of aviation industry experience spanning aircraft and engine leasing, asset management, and engineering. He received a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire and an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He previously worked at AerCap, Air Lease Corporation, and Rolls-Royce.

Fun Fact: Simon is an avid guitarist, live music enthusiast, and soccer fan.
